Back To The Future walkie talkie archer space patrol 60-4014 radio

Here we have Doc and Martys walkie talkies as seen in back to the future archer space patrol model 60-4014 in the original packaging! Made in Hong Kong. **These are the EXACT same model walkie talkies from the movie! Archer space control made similar looking walkie-talkies, but as you can see from the packaging, these are the exact ones. *Not to be confused with the similar looking model 60-4004 (made in taiwan)which are usually sold on Pricetronic and passed off as the back to the future walkie-talkies because they look nearly identical, but they actually are not. These actually do work, probably not as well as when they were brand new.  The distance was not tested, but the voice does transmit back-and-forth from one walkie-talkie to another although there is a loud rushing noise just like the package says(see pic of back of packaging for operating instructions pic #9). At first we thought they were defective because of the noise but apparently this is how these old timey walkie-talkies work. Unlike how they worked in the movies, please don’t expect crisp and clear sound transmission or a long distance transmission or operation without any rushing or squelching noises. Visually these are in terrific condition. The cardboard packaging is in pretty excellent condition the yellow plastic containing the walkie-talkies has yellowed due to age but it’s hard to see in the pictures. The price is high because this is rather rare to have the exact model walkie-talkies in the packaging. We have seen several archer space patrols sold as the back to the future walkie-talkies for a high price when in fact, they were not the exact model. Excellent movie prop for the true Back To The Future fan or collector! Taking offers! Please view the pictures carefully these items are approximately 40 years old. Please understand that and do not expect a new item or items without wear or marks. The packaging has wear and tear consistent with its age, but still overall is an excellent visual condition. These are being sold As-Is as a vintage movie collectible and they are not being sold as a walkie-talkie set to use although you could use them if you wanted to.
